Position Title: Volunteer & Foster Coordinator (Full-Time, with Animal Care Support)
Position Summary
The Volunteer & Foster Coordinator is a key connector at the Rhode Island SPCA, responsible for building and sustaining a strong, engaged volunteer and foster community while also providing direct support to the daily care of cats and small animals. This full-time role emphasizes recruiting, training, and—most importantly—retaining volunteers and foster caregivers through consistent communication, recognition, and meaningful engagement. The ideal candidate is highly organized, people-focused, and compassionate toward animals, thriving in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

GP vet needed, surgery coverage a plus, but not required.
